Microscopes and Loupes

No more flying blind – the latest in dental visual aids.

Long gone are the days of dentists looking at teeth with the naked eye. Loupes are now considered necessary for everyday procedures. Sometimes, when greater magnification is required, then the microscope is the instrument of choice as it affords still greater magnification. No loupes and you can tell the dentists is flying blind - no microscope on certain applications and the dentistry flirts with hit and miss procedures. Anything else is just a compromise.

We can't show a patient what the dentist sees with loupes, but we can through the micrsope as it is attached to a camera and then fed back to the computer and computer screen. This enables patients to accurately see what the dentist is talking about doing and why.
